According to a report by Chris Doucette in the Toronto Sun dated 24 July, 2024 a gunfight took place in Scarborough near Midland Ave and Ellesmere Ave at about 2:30 am. The report says that a lot of shots were fired but does not say how many.
“According to Toronto Police statistics, as of Monday there had been 270 shootings and firearm discharges in Toronto with 26 deaths and 64 injured. The quadruple shooting on Wednesday bumps those grim gun violence stats up to at least 28 killed and 66 wounded.
In comparison, in all of 2023 there were 345 shooting events in the city with 29 killed and 139 injured”.
It is interesting to note that this incident is not mentioned on the CBC’s web site. Why would it? This is the kind of incident that clearly shows the flaws in Mr. Trudeau’s gun laws that are intended to; “increase public safety”. As Homer Simpson would say; “Doh”! If the writing isn’t exactly on the wall, the empty cases are clearly evident in the parking lots of Toronto.

He goes on to state:
“Politicians at all levels, the special interest groups that somehow always get their attention, and the media outlets that supported our inept leaders’ ass-backwards approach to combating crime without asking any tough questions all have blood on their hands — a lot of it”.
These are eye opening statistics for sure. Now if one even mentions carding these days, they will be immediately accused of racism and reminded of the deep seated systemic racism found in most police forces, according to liberal sources.
But statistics don’t lie. What we have listed above is the clear evidence that the politicians we elect have failed to provide the public safety initiatives required by today’s societies.
Perhaps it is time for our elected officials to stop blaming the innocent victims for causing the problem and actually dealing with the problem noted above, which is sure colour neutral to me, for which no liberal virtue signalling will rectify!
