You may have read or heard through various media sources that Canada has some
radical people enlisted in its Canadian Armed Forces. Behold, a plot was uncovered and
arrests made. Four, to be exact. Of the thousands of men and women serving the
caught four. Hmmm.

From the RCMP web page dated 8 July, 2025 I found the following:

“RCMP Federal Policing National Security – Eastern Region announces the arrest of and
laying of charges against four individuals, including active members of the Canadian
Armed Forces, who were allegedly involved in activities intending to forcibly take
possession of land in the Québec City area…The three accused were planning to create
anti-government militia. To achieve this, they took part in military-style training, as well
as shooting, ambush, survival and navigation exercises. They also conducted a scouting
operation. A variety of firearms, some prohibited, as well as high-capacity magazines
and tactical equipment were allegedly used in these activities”.

Now, are we to cringe in fear and wring our hands at this announcement or laugh at the
stupidity of those involved? The CBC and other left wing media outlets will no doubt
espouse the former. I, on the other hand, will take the later argument.

There have been reports lately of militia type organizations being formed north of the
69th parallel which emulate those operating south of the border. Progressives are
astounded that such anti-government behaviour should be found here in the great white
north.

In reading the above note from our beloved national police force we are threatened by
no less than four individuals who may, or may not, have been radicalized somehow and
some of whom may be active serving military types taking “military-style training”. No
standardized legally defined criteria need be applied it seems.

The picture provided by the press showed at least seven individuals taking some sort of
target practice, which it seems has been declared to be military-style training. Sound
familiar? This is the same kind of made-up language by progressive clowns to identify
certain civilian market firearms that were being sold legally in Canada. Again, no
standardized legally defined criteria for a military assault-style weapon need be used.
Are we, the general public, to be afraid of these radical gun toting military/civilian
activists who are trying to take control of some land in Quebec? And why Quebec? No
mention here in the RCMP narrative. Things to ponder.

A lot of Canadian men, and presumably women in this DEI world, enjoy spending their
weekends dressing up in battered fatigue pants and shirts to run around in some isolated
wooded area and shoot off guns that may or may not be prohibited. I have written before
about a friend of mine who found evidence of this kind of activity deep in cottage
country.

Now in the world of the para-military these clowns would be laughed at. The report has
all the trappings of a real gong show. Serious insurrectionists would certainly take a
different course of action.

Modern conflict has given rise to an old concept revised. That is the concept of the
private military contractor or PMC for short. These can be serious organizations for hire
by the highest bidder and take the form of companies like the former Blackwater, now
known as Academi, or the recently discussed PMC Wagner Group, which was taking
part in the war in the Ukraine on the side of Russia.

These modern, true military organizations, are dangerous entities indeed. Hired by
various governments for singular purposes using predominantly ex-military personnel,
including, like Russia, those serving in prisons who are offered amnesty to serve or
finish their sentences keeping in mind that most Russian males have completed
compulsory military service.

PMC’s are also utilized by wealthy individuals or companies for various assignments
such as personal protection and the taking over of countries in turmoil politically or
siding with one or the other side in civil wars. These are corporate entities interested in
nothing beyond the bottom line and have access to experienced military personnel
willing to fight for any cause that pays big money.

So I feel our media does react too strongly to the wrong signals. With our military in
shambles economically and politically we should be aware of the potential of a
government or individual or corporation which, if opportunity or catastrophe allows,
seek to take control by using their own PMC. It is, after all, a global phenomena.
